INDIGESTION


Indigestion is obstruction of the digestive function or failure of the stomach to digest food.

The measures recommended to help digestion:

1. Fasting during 4 hours.
2. Drink a glass of warm water every hour for 4 hours fasting.
3. Eat a slice of ripe papaya 30 minutes after a heavy meal
4. Eat snacks without fat foods after fasting for 4 hours.

Treatment with medicinal plants:

1. ripe Papaya (Carica papaya)
Eat as a dessert, especially with heavy food. Papaya helps the digestion of proteins.

2. Leaves Kamatsili, Kamunsil (Pithecolobium duice Benth.)
> Boil 1 cup of leaves kamatsili in 5 cups of water for 10 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
> Dose:

Adults: 2 bowls for the first time, then 1 cup every 4 hours
Children: 1 bowl first, then 1/2 cup every 4 hours.

Baby: 1 tablespoon for the first time, then 1 teaspoon every 4 hours

3. Leaves Fruit Nona (Anona meticulata Linn.)
> Heat the fruit leaves the lady on an open fire.
> Put the leaves on the stomach while warm. Use a cloth bandage stomach. Replace every 2 hours. Good for kids and babies
